The Silver City Road is EXTREMELY ICY. What little amount of snow that was on the ground has mixed with the rain and has froze. There are bare spots - so snowmobiling would be extremely difficult. The watchman in Silver City said that the roads in town are very icy. If your travels take you into Silver City - CHAINS & 4WD ARE REQUIRED.
